The outdoor season is fast approaching, and the North Zone Board of Directors has been working hard since December to prepare for us to have the best outdoor season yet.  Please check back regularly as we will be posting registration dates and times for each community as the information comes in.

What is the U-10 Competitive Program?

The U-10 Competitive Program is a more challenging program aimed at strong players in the U-10 category.  The format is 11 a side with the offside rule introduced.  The field of play, while larger, is not a regulation full-size field, in order to accommodate the size and physical abilities of these young players.

While it is called a Competitive program, skill development, fair play, and fun are still the emphasis of the program - not winning at all costs.  However, because it is a more demanding program, players must attend tryouts prior to the start of the season.  For more information on tryout dates and times, please see the Xtreme website. 

Community Registration Dates and Times

Please check back often, as this list will be updated as we are advised of registration dates and times.

All players registering for soccer in the North Zone must register through their community league.  In order to play for the Xtreme, you must possess a current community league membership, and should register through your community league prior to attending tryouts, if possible.  This assures you of a spot in the event that you do not make an Xtreme team.  If you do make an Xtreme team, your community registration fees will be refunded to you.  In some cases, communities will accept a post dated cheque in the amount of registration fees for players trying out for the Xtreme - if your child makes a team, the cheque is simply returned to you.  Ask your community soccer director for more information.
